‘Printed Silk chiffon, hand felted and stitched  – 118cm x 190cm’

HER HAIR GROWS – Part of a series of hand felted and stitched textiles called Negotiations, HER HAIR GROWS references the popular ‘Tressy’ doll of the 1960s and the many ways my community transform our hair – in particular the joy and pain of hair straitening!
